As my energy level goes down down down and I do not even have the strength to go the gym any more (how is that for a serious bummer?) Flora the beagle's energy is boundless and she needs more exercise.

I need help! Anyone who can come take Flora for a walk or to the dog park will be helping me immensely. I can still give her three walks a day (one long and two short) but I am afraid that she needs more. Not every day but a few more walks a week would help both of us.

There are a few caveats. She does pull on the leash and she basically acts like a crackhead if she sees a squirrel. She poops in public and I do believe that one should clean up after one's dog. I have a diaper bag complete with disposable hand wipes to lend out with Flora.

Radiation has been hard on me. I seem to be having more fatigue than was expected and it took a week of stupid, insulting conversations with medical staff to finally get to a doctor who had some insight although no quick fixes.

So I am reminded again, over and over again, that cancer does indeed SUCK.

I did have a happy birthday. My coworker Jared shares the same birthday so my department had a potluck lunch for us. It was great for me to see everyone and we did together what we do best: eat eat eat. I really love and miss my coworkers and we have fun together as a group. Especially if surrounded by amazing amounts of food.

Well, hope everyone else is doing well out there and enjoying the end of summer. Thanks for the cards, letter, emails, and calls.
